The daughter of a friend is doing an International Service Project through her college, California Baptist University. She will be journeying to Southeast Asia from May 7th through the 27th, sharing the truth about Jesus and putting on basketball camps for kids of all ages.

The youth of today are exposed to many adverse influences which makes it difficult for them to stay the course in their faith journey. It's encouraging to see Marisa and others wanting to share their faith and talents and it's important they know what they are doing is not only commendable, but appreciated and supported. Their efforts are an integral part in changing lives and the world we live in by not only sharing Christ's love but providing a much-needed positive influence on young and old.

I'm really excited for Marisa and applaud her in this wonderful endeavor. This is going to be a life-changing experience for her as well as her fellow students and will also be a challenge being in a foreign country and away from their families.

If you would like to join me in sponsoring Marisa, you can do so online at www.calbaptist.edu/go/pay and reference her name: Marisa Boessneck. If you cannot help financially, please become her prayer partner as she and her team will need many prayers as they prepare and serve.

You can follow the team's progress at Blogs.CalBaptist.Edu/MOB
